At Trew Tree Experts, Inc., we have a staff arborist who is highly trained and certified to practice arboriculture in a variety of ways. He works safely and effectively in and around trees and is skilled at tree diagnosis and treatment, climbing and pruning, cabling and lightning protection, consultation and report writing. To attain and maintain his certification, our arborist is expected to participate in rigorous continual education requirements to ensure continuous improvement of skills and techniques.
Make sure that you’re always working with a Certified Arborist (CA) who is a professional who has over three years of documented and verified experience and has passed a rigorous written test from the International Society of Arboriculture. By working closely with our arborist, you can determine the health and future of your trees, offering you a peace of mind and empowering you by having the right information as you proceed.
There are so many diseases out there that your trees can suffer from that a good arborist can really help you in determining what is ailing your trees. Hardwood or deciduous trees can be harmed or killed by disease-causing organisms called pathogens. The most common tree diseases are caused by fungi. Fungi lack chlorophyll and derive nourishment by feeding on (parasitizing) trees.
Many fungi are microscopic but some are visible in the form of mushrooms or conks, while other tree diseases are caused by bacteria and viruses. Some of these include Powdery Mildew Tree Disease; Sooty Mold Tree Disease; Verticillium Wilt Tree Disease; Canker Tree Disease; Leaf Spot Tree Disease; Heart Rot Tree Disease; and Root and Butt Rot Tree Disease, just to name a few.
